Remodeling...Bring in the construction crew!

Yes, my site doesn't get much activity or visit. Not one part of it is exciting in my opinion, so I'm remodeling it! If you see my forums you can see the very beginnings, but don't worry, it will get better.

What I ask of you is, would be to help. My site has a cornucopia of subjects and is welcome to more. If you can contribute in anyway whatsoever, post here or email me at gandalf_is_yo_momma@hotmail.com

Thank you,
newtycoon the newt
p.s. More details of the remodel at my forums

Two MAJOR projects

Here's some stuff I've been doing with my site:
I added a site ring, new forum emoticons, a tell a friend service, a counter, updated the links in the navigation pane so they all say something when you go over them (I have to think of funny things to write).
I also added a cartoon thing. Really funny.
I added a Ronald Reagan tribute page. It is all red, white, blue, and tables :) Link on the main page
I added titles and edited the links on several pages (or at least a couple). When you mouse over the images on home.html a funny thing pops up telling you what the image is.
I'm about to post on the devotions blog. There's also a link on the main page ( http://www.freewebs.com/newts_site/home.html )
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now I'm tired from website work, garden work, and playing with three troublesome, funny dogs.

I planted some mundo grass by a small dog house/shed conversion.  I'm planning a garden to attract ladybugs, butterflies, and moths. I'm also hoping for bats, dragonflies, and damselflies, I have plans for them too.
I found pillbugs today. I have established several pillbug gardens, but these pillbugs came by themselves.

New JS book

Yay! I got a JavaScript book today. I started my first script but I got sidetracked. I'm going to study more when day burns out, though. Hopefully I can make my own JS today :)
I've wanted to learn this web design language for quite a while, so I'm as excited as when I got Adobe Photoshop CS (I forgot to report on that...shame on me)

Farewell!

Farewell to the blog of Chrissy (also known as Aimee)!
I hope that you chage your mind and continue to blog, but that is your decision. A site should never close because of people who visit, or even help to maintain it (unless said person is the webmaster lol) although some wounds may never mend, many do, and those that don't can be assuaged.
Such quarrels between two visitors are not the problem of the administrator but the problems of the quarreling visitors, in my humble opinion.
If you don't reopen your blog, Chrissy, I hope you can continue to blog, and maybe have even more doors open to you to spread the Word of God.

and hey, look, I posted! lol

Sin to God, and losing Salvation, the Greatest Retirement Plan

Ok, some people have been confused about the question?
Can a saved person lose their salvation?
I think not, for "none shall pluck me out of my Father's Hand." Once we are saved, we are SAVED FOREVER AND EVER!!!

Also, God sees all sins as the same. I can't give a clear answer as to how, but I do have somewhat of an idea. I think God sees all sins as the same because He can save them all, they all lead to the same path, and if you look in the ever-so-popular "Spiritual eye-glasses" you can see the crudeness, horribleness, and evil of sin in whole. It would have an effect on someone worse then hearing the cry of a Ringwraith. Unimaginable evil...
But God can forgive this, and wipe out all traces of it in us, yet we still sin. So then do we lose our Salvation, the Greatest Retirement Plan? No! We sadden the Holy Ghost and stray from God.
I won't write an expose on it, but I will post more later ;)

A reminder to those who bug me

People, like Damissus, bug me about posting.
I am quite busy, and I often forget. When I pop in the computer I'm usually working on my site or graphics or browsing forums.
However, I am considering to stop posting at my devotions blog. http://devotions.blogdrive.com As no one goes there only One appreciates my work, and someone who e-mailed me asking me to post my devotions at a large Christian MSN group (too much e-mail!)
So please pay a visit to my devotions blog

Other than that, I'm organizing some notes, dating from the grade I'm in now to the 3rd and 4th grades! I sorted through them, throwing  bunches of papers away, but carefully checking each one out, and finding over 3/4 of them to be old schoolwork. Recycling paper prices should lower in my area next week, I'm giving a box full of paper that was in one of my desk drawers!
I still have to sort out the rest of my notes and schoolwork and notebooks and folders...
I found a lot of interesting things though, unfinished stories, maps, a Times Kids magazine, and tons of other stuff, including my long lost China report. What I was looking for I didn't find, I think someone threw it away, a single piece of paper with a very important map, of what is hidden, but being I found other important things I am quite happy for now. I have to look more.
Right now, I'm taking a break from all that and watching Discovery Times. Byzantium was cool :D

Does anybody know a good mythology site? I would like to learn a bit about it.

Oh yeah see my new egg? I got the idea from my Mother, who POSTED AT HER BLOG!!!! http://rosiedoo.blogdrive.com

bye now, off to work,

Happy Belated Easter Everyone!

Luke 24:2-3
"2And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre [tomb]. 3And they entered and found not the body of Christ."
Jesus left! He's not there anymore! Verse 4 says "...behold, two men stood by them in shining garments:"
It is thought that these are angels.
Several women were there, "10...which told these things to the apostles. 11 And their words seemed to them as idle tales, and they believed them not."
Jesus Christ had told them before He was crucified that, after three days, He would rise again, yet the apostles believed not until they saw Jesus. In verse 12, Peter goes to the sepulchre, and the linen clothes Jesus was placed in were laid down themselves.
"Luke 24:12Then arose Peter, and ran unto the sepulchre [tomb]; and stooping down, he beheld the linen clothes laid by themselves, and departed, wondering in himself at that which was come to pass."
Jesus is risen! Just like He said He would do!!! He died for your sins, and for my sins. Sins are the wrong things we do in our lives, and Jesus will cleanse us of the punishment for sin, being the spiritual death, going to Hell after you die...

You never know when Judgement Day will be...will you die today?
I'm going to pretend I'm talking to a lost person:
Q: If you died today do you know 100% that you would go to Heaven or would you have even a shadow of a doubt?
A: I'm not too sure...tell me more.
Q:  If I could show you in the Bible how could you know for sure, would you do what the Bible said if it was something you could do?
A: Um, it depends...
S(statement): There are four things God wants us to know do that we can know if we're going to Heaven when we die.
#1 The first thing God wants us to know is that we are all sinners.
Romans 3:10-"As it is written, THERE IS NONE RIGHTEOUS, NO, NOT ONE."

Romans 3:23-"For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."
Romans 3:10 means everyone has sinned. Romans 3:23 means the same, we are not worthy to meet God.
Q: Do you agree with God that you are a sinner?
A: Sinner...which is?
AfromMe: Someone who does wrong in the Eyes of the Lord.
A: Oh, I guess *shrug*
#2 The second thing God wants us to know is that there is a penalty for sin.
Romans 6:23a-"For the wages of sin is death..." which means when we sin we immediately are on a track to hell.
Revelation 21:8-"But the fearful, and unbelieving...[<i>list of sins</i>]...and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth of fire and brimstone: which is the second death." Which means sinners go to hell after they die to burn for eternity-burn with worms that don't die, bite at you, and the gnashing of teeth is heard, you never get out! ew, I don't want to go there for ETERNITY-eternity being a  never-ending epoch.
Q: According to the verses listed above, does it sound like you are going to Heaven or does it sound like you are going to hell-"the lake which burneth of fire and brimstone: which is the second death.?"
A: Heh...
#3 The third thing God wants us to know is that Jesus died for us and His death is the ONLY hope we have to make it to Heaven.
Romans 5:8-"But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." This can be explained simply by:
John 3:16-"For God so loved the world that He sent His only Begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish [go to hell] but shall have everlasting life."
Romans 6:23b-"...but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Which means that all 3 verses say how God sent His Son, Jesus, to die on the Cross and rise again on the Third Day, Easter Sunday, for US! So that we can live with Him.
Q: Do you believe that Jesus died on the cross for you?
A: Yes.
#4 The fourth thing is this...we must believe that Jesus is the Lord our Saviour and ask Him to save us.
Romans 10:9-"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." Romans 10:3-"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord thou shall be saved."
These mean if we just ASK God, Jesus, to save us He will! We can go to heaven!
If you prayed this prayer, you're heaven bound, but you need to stay in God's Word if you want to grow closer to God, and to reach others with the same Truth you found today ^_^

ZooTycoonism

I don't know how many people play ZooTycoon here, but I'm working hard on some projects. ZooTycoon (ZT) is a simulation PC game of which the goal is to build a prosperous zoo. I'm addicted. I've learned a lot from it. It inspired my computer obsession, also taught me a lot on zoology and  botany. Meeting people in sites dedicated to ZT was und is fun. I've not only made tons of friends, learned a lot, but led two people to Christ who were (in)directly connected with the game (one is a friend of a ZT player I know).
Designers, like me, can create stuff to use in the game. Even guest usable items (paths buildings etc) as well as animal shelters, fences, actual animals, simple objects, etc etc
So I started an unofficial expansion pack (UXP) for it, based on Arda (the planet Middle Earth is on), as well as a Christian UXP. All week I've been working on these. My newest project I'm doing with a friend, a rainforest plant pack. This includes some plants from rainforests overlooked by the game creators, New Zealand plants, South American plants (there are SA plants, but not many), some Asian plants (Asian plants in abundance in the game, but more is needed), as well as three species of sagos:
the sago palm (the one your neighbor has)
the Thai sago palm (the one he doesn't)
the Madagascan sago palm (the one he wishes he has)
lol
I just wanted to post a really long post on this...maybe some bloggers will buy ZooTycoon Complete Collection (ZTCC) to download my stuff! Und LAwebTeks, Catfish's, und everyone else's Tek Forums
Tek is a cool site with ZooTycoon, computing, general discussion, und more...
My forum has Christian boards
